Marcelo, from Ferrer Corsets sends some photos of a new corset. As Marcelo describes:

Look, here it goes the new pictures of me in my new corset.
This piece was made by me too, in white german coutil, designed to extreme tight-lacing. The corset take off about 35cm in the waist, Not closed at all in the pics, I think its gonna take time and tight-lacing with this new one until I close the corset.

It is an Under-bust, made in Tailor Magneted Wool, a nice fabric that i found here. The point is, this one is the tightest corset I have ever made for myself: 30 centimeters less then my natural waist. I just can’t tighten it all the way yet because my waist line isn’t flexilble enough to this, but soon I think I’ll do it.

Below are some photos, passed along by Marcelo, of a corset designed especially for men by Madame Sher (email: mme.sher(at)gmail.com. I think these are really neat corsets – an interesting cross between typical masculine fashion and a touch of what would typically be thought of as a feminine garment (primarily in the back lacing of the corset). They definitely look sharp and would dress up any formal outfit.

Madame Sher also makes some very cool (pun intended) mesh corsets that, supposedly, are light and breathable for the summer months. The line is called “Tight Comfort”. I really like the look of these corsets and also the idea that they would be more comfortable during hot months. However, I think it’s unclear as to whether these would be effective for daily tightlacing. There’s a thread on this topic running over on the Corset College forum. Does anyone have any experience with this type of corset?
