Reader and corset enthusiast Dieter has sent a number of photos of his interesting corsets in the past. Below are some images that Dieter sent recently.

Awhile back, I posted some photos submitted by Dieter — dieterhelmut(at)hotmail.com — a male tightlacer. (Older posts here and here.) In these prior photos, Dieter was wearing custom-made Dark Garden corsets.

Dieter sent along some additional photos, which I’m pleased to post, along with his descriptions.

“My red leather corset is an improved and tighter version of my previously published photo of my straightfront (“S”) leather corset, it is now much tighter and has a very ingenious underbelt which goes under my buttocks and through horizontal lacings in the back lifts my buttocks. My wife always hated that most of my corsets always pushed my buttocks down. The corset is from Olga, the Argentinian corsetiere at Recoleta in Buenos Aires. This corsets now feels so great and sexy to my wife and myself that she is helping me to wear it 23 hours per day, teaching me to move and walk naturally and even sit down gracefully but only on straight-back chairs. You are right, it took me years of training in regular corsets, until I now got used to live well in my straightfront “S” corsets.”

“The other two photos show my heavy rubber “overcorsets” from “Emagrecintas” in Rio De Janeiro. I use these over one of my older corsets when swimming in our private pool to do my daily exercises to avoid atrophy of my muscles.

I’m not dead !

It has been more than a month since I last posted on this blog. It has been on my mind to post, but I think I go through spurts of posting, then lulls of deadspace.

Sometimes, I guess, it just takes having exciting material to post that spurs me into action. I definitely have a good stock of some interesting material to post. Here’s just a first installation of that material.

, who some may have come across on other sites on the net. He has a very dramatic waist and, interestingly, his corsets lace in the front. I’ll pass along the name of the corsetiere if/when I can find out.

Does anyone else have experience with front-lacing corsets? I know WaspCreations makes a few front-lacing styles. Also, we rarely see men wearing S-front corsets, which Dieter’s is/are. I’ve read that these are difficult to wear (I’ve never worn one myself). Does anyone have experience with s-front corsets?

It’s very interesting that the majority of those who read this blog wear corsets for the physical sensations – the compression and warm hug that a tightly-laced corset spreads over one’s body.

I wonder what the driver is of this sense of pleasure that we derive from compression around our torsos. Is it purely a physical sensation? Or, is it driven psychologically, as well? Could it be the physical expression of a desire for control or restriction?

I have seen, in a few places, male corsetry linked to male chastity. For example, on this page, dieter describes his routine of chastity, which is linked to a tightlacing regimen. And, as can be plainly seen in the pictures that he has posted on the site, one of which I have posted below, dieter is a very accomplished tightlacer.

Awhile back, there was a commercial site dedicated to the intersection of corsetry and chastity – www.lacedandlocked.com. The site is no longer active, but you can still find remnants of the site throughout the web. Lacedandlocked had a partnership with Wasp Creations for locking corsets and corsets with integrated chastity harnesses. There is still a video on YouTube for the locking corset, showing how one would lace and lock the corset. In the past, there was also a video on YouTube showing a male laced tightly into a corset that had an attached chastity harness. Here is a picture of what this device looked like:

This site is no longer available and it’s not clear that Wasp Creations still manufacturers such devices (perhaps on request?).

Regardless, I find the combination of corsetry and chastity quite interesting – it’s somehow revealing as to, perhaps, some deeper psychological motivation for corsetry that is manifest in physical sensations (at least for some).
